This shawl is hand made with a traditional Shetland Islands Lace stitch using fingering. The particular Norwegian wool and Danish-Scottish technique impart the illusion of a bouclé fabric. While already wide, this piece can stretch well beyond the listed figures and will always be able to spring back to shape provided it's properly cared for.
As with all of our 100% natural yarns, the wool is both beautiful and a true technical wonder in that it performs well under adverse weather conditions.
