This is a traditional Danish wool hat typically used in seafaring and is of heavyweight construction rarely found through mainline retail channels. The naturally stretchy and machine-wash-safe wool is shorn, spun and dyed in Peru. The process of making Superwash wool results in a permanent closure of the fibers’ scales. Making this wool particularly soft for children.
