This is a traditional Irish six stitch cable knit scarf and very large example. The naturally stretchy American wool blend is shorn, spun and dyed in the United States. This scarf can stretch well beyond the listed figures and will always be able to spring back to shape provided it's properly cared for.
Photographed under several light settings, hence the variety of photos, and is a true medium charcoal with the slightest tint of blue (no other hues present). Please note that this piece has a reverse side pattern, as cable knits do, and can be seen in the last photo.
Mohair, a breed of goat originating from Anatolia, adds softness and shine to the yarn. For more information on mohair please see this link from The Mohair Council of America.
As with all of our 100% natural yarns, this wool is both beautiful and a true technical wonder in that it performs well under adverse weather conditions. Suitable for any adventurer. Our products are made with the highest quality material that can be passed down through families.
